Gamescom, which is currently underway in Cologne, Germany, till the end of this week, can only mean one thing – loads of new trailers. Just one of these is a new trailer for the forthcoming Darksiders 3 game from THQ Nordic.

In case you were entertaining doubts that the game may be more of the same, the latest gameplay trailer below should slice those doubts into thirds before slamming them into the ground.

What makes the new trailer all the more exciting is that the third entry in the franchise is a two months away, and its newest protagonist is looking furious.

Furious because come the final quarter of the year she will have to compete with the likes of Spider-Man, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey for your time and cash? Quite possibly. But most definitely because there are an array of demons standing between her and completing her mission of eradicating the seven deadly sins. Not helping matters is that things don’t seem exactly amicable between herself and her brothers, Death and War.
