New video gives gamers behind the scenes look at Call of Duty: WWII
By Staff Writer 4 May 2017 | Categories: newsSay what you will about Call of Duty's recent releases, but the franchise is still a mainstay in the FPS multiplayer arena. The forthcoming title, WWII, promises a return to form and perhaps the better storytelling that gamers have been hankering for.
Behind the reigns for this one is Sledgehammer Games, with the developer recently revealing a look at how this two-year in the making project has come together.
Considered the "World's greatest conflict" by the developer, Call of Duty: WWII certainly has quite a bit to live up to in order to do the true life events justice. In order to add an increased level of authenticity, Sledgehammer Games notes that it has conducted exhaustive research to recreate the weapons, environments and landmarks within the game.
If the views, likes and dislikes on YouTube are anything to go by, gamers are starting to warm up to the idea of Call of Duty: WWII. See for yourself in the video below, as well as last week's reveal trailer after that.
