Nike goes All Out for their latest Air Zoom shoe
By Staff Writer 23 June 2016 | Categories: newsWe've seen the Nike Flyknit technology put to work on a number of different shoes since it first debuted a few years ago. The latest offering from Nike to feature the lightweight upper is the new Air Zoom All Out.
Designed as an everyday running shoe, the Air Zoom All Out not only hinges on the company's Flyknit yarn, but also a variety of other running technologies. For instance, the midsole features Nike's instantly recognisable Air bag. Although not as large as the one seen on the VapourMax, this Air bag does extend through most of the shoe, instead of just around the heel like other Air Max shoes.
As a result, Nike says the larger Air bag will help runners generate more energy with each stride. Consequently, the American apparel brand believes the Air bag on the All out is 3.2 times more responsive than any other one they've placed in a commercial running shoe.
Added to this is the aforementioned Flyknit upper, along with a an elasticated sock-like collar to slip the All Out's on and off. Available for purchase now, those aiming to get their hands on a pair will have to pay R2 800 via Nike's online store or at select local retailers.
