Nissan's 2017 GT-R landing in Japan on 27 July
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 12 July 2016 | Categories: newsIn late March this year, Nissan unveiled their 2017 iteration of its GT-R supercar at the New York Auto Show. A few months thereafter, the Japanese carmaker has prepared the 2017 GT-R for sale in its native country.
Available in three different specification options, the Nissan GT-R is fitted with a recommended price tag that starts at ¥9 960 840, and tops out at ¥11 705 040. All three options will be at select Nissan dealerships across Japan from 27 July onwards.
As for when Godzilla 2 will arrive locally, Nissan South Africa has remained tight-lipped, but hopefully we'll see this supercar on the road before the year's end. Just like its predecessor, the new 2017 model sees each engine handcrafted by its own technician. This results in the GT-R's twin turbocharged 3.4 litre V6 engine producing an increased 419 kW of power.
If you're keen on the new 2017 GT-R, it's best to start saving now. Watch it tackle the infamous Nürburgring racetrack below.
