If MWC this year has taught us anything, it's that every manufacturer is currently trying to get their own VR headset off the ground. Although they weren't on show in Barcelona last week, Razer is one such manufacturer with their OSVR offering. The headset first debuted at CES in 2015, but up until now very few details have emerged about the OSVR's development.

That changed this week though, with the company detailing a number of Steam VR games available for the OSVR developer kit. The games include to Steam classics in the form of Team Fortress 2 and Half-Life 2. Added to those are Elite Dangerous, Live for Speed and Spermination. We've seen Elite Dangerous used as the go-to game for manufacturers to showcase their VR offerings, with HTC's Vive in particular favouring it.

The dev kit OSVR will cost would-be developers $300, which might not be as much as the Vive VR's $800 price tag, but is certainly one of the more pricey options out there. That said, having Steam VR powered versions outside of the Vive is something users will likely look for. As for when the OSVR will hit the market, Razer is yet to detail that information.
