Split, starring the amazing James McAvoy playing ten different personalities, was great, but perhaps just as awesome is the revelation that Split takes place in the same universe as Unbreakable. Both, of course, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, it left the door open for a third movie in what is effectively an unlikely superhero trilogy. That movie is Glass, tying together Kevin Wendell Crumb (McAvoy), the indestructible David Dunn (Bruce Willis) and fragile Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson).

The second trailer for the movie paints a much clearer picture of what will be going down. Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson, 12 Years a Slave) is conducting experiments on our three amigos, trying to rid them of the idea that somehow, they might have super abilities. Mr. Glass, however, is scheming, knowing that if he can get Crumb to release The Beast, there’s a chance not only for escape, but also widespread chaos and for the world to see their powers.

Scheduled for early 2019, Shyamalan describes Glass as the "first truly grounded comic book movie." Don’t expect The Avengers style cinematics, but do expect some twist and turns as the movie unfolds.
