Spring and its arrival in September signifies many things to different people. For some, the change in season means the ability to shed those extra layers of clothing (and winter fat), while others use it to do much needed cleaning around the house. 

For Telkom, it marks their most promising Deal of the Month campaign to date, with a tempting amount of wireless data on offer as part of the SmartBroadband Wireless package for September. Priced at R299 for a 24-month contract, here's what the offer entails. 

A new season

Each month, Telkom serves up a deal for one of its wireless broadband packages, and this time round, they have 10 GB of data on offer, as well as 10 GB of Night Surfer and 5 GB mobile thrown into the mix. Not to mention, the addition of a Huawei router too, all of which comes to the total of R299 per month for a 24-month contract. 

Along with ushering in the welcome change of season, the Telkom September exclusive deal also highlights the cheap and fast LTE connectivity that this service provider can deliver to its customers. The aforementioned Huawei B315 Wi-Fi router provides access to both LTE and Gigabit Ethernet networks, and has the ability to turn your entire home into a high-speed LTE hotspot, along with connecting with up to 32 different devices in total. 

Having access to the country's best LTE network is simply too good to pass up, but Telkom does advise interested users to check out their LTE coverage map before purchasing. If you're living within South Africa's major cities - Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth, LTE connectivity is rich and plentiful.   

Get to it

Along with making it easier for more people to access Telkom's high-speed LTE network, they've also bundled together 10 GB of standard wireless data with 10 GB of Night Surfer data, which runs between 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM, perfect for downloading movies and series from platforms like ShowMax. Furthermore, Telkom has sweetened the deal by adding 5 GB of mobile data, which is perfect for streaming on the go. 

There is one proviso, however, the deal requires you to act as quickly as possible. The September exclusive promotion is only valid for the first 1000 people that sign up for the package during this month. This means that time is of the essence, and if you're interested in the deal, you need to sign up for it now, as those 1000 spots will no doubt fill up quickly.
