Tour de France 2015 gameplay trailer for consoles released
By Staff Writer 22 May 2015 | Categories: newsWith the Tour de France around the corner, it’s almost a given that Cyanide Studio will be ready with a new cycling game to catch some of the hype. To that end, get ready for more news about what is new in the latest Tour de France 2015, more specifically a video to see what’s coming to the next gen consoles (and the PS3).
It’s up to you to guide the team through all 21 official stages of the Tour, and included for the first time, also the Critérium International and the Critérium du Dauphiné. Cyanide Studio notes new improvements to the game including better graphics and an upgraded interface. This allows better access to race information such as effort, energy, feeds, position in the peloton, stage profile and wind direction.
There’s a new game mode called Challenge that tests your skills as a descender, making use of speed, braking, the correct line and sometimes sheer luck to beat the reference time.
Tour de France 2015 seems to have a specific niche market in mind, so if you’ve had your fill of shaven legs, your bum being hurt by a tiny seat, and random drug tests in the real world, then this virtual one awaits. It’s set for release on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and PC this June.
Check the gameplay trailer below for more cycling action.
