Trailer for Injustice 2 debuts with 2017 release date being touted
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 9 June 2016 | Categories: newsThe first big event of the gaming calendar, E3 2016, happens next week. As such, game developers have already started debuting new trailers for titles they aim to detail in full in the next few days. Leading the pack is Injustice 2, which recently released a trailer that sees some of the Justice League's heaviest hitters go toe to toe.
It also appears a shade darker than its 2013 predecessor, which saw Superman as one of the big bads. One of the key differences for this game is the ability to pick and choose customisable upgrades for characters. The extent of this in-game upgrade system has not been fully detailed by developers NetherRealm, but it's something they say gamers will be pleased by.
“NetherRealm Studios is offering fans an experience of customising and battling with DC’s iconic characters in an entirely new way,” notes Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president, David Haddad.
With more info on this 2017-slated game likely forthcoming next week. Hit play on the trailer below and enjoy.
