If you've racked up as many kills as possible in Assassin's Creed Origins and is now looking for a new challenge, developer Ubisoft has detailed two upcoming DLCs for the open-world title.

The Hidden Ones

To that end, the first one named The Hidden Ones will be available on all platforms from 23 January onwards. It is set four years after the events of Origins, and the battles that ensue with a force of Roman soldiers in a new area called the Sinai.

Along with a different environment to explore, gamers will see their level caps raised to 45, which is said to allow for greater customisation. Added to this is will be the chance to earn four new legendary weapons, a new outfit, more new normal weapons and two mounts. Season Pass owners already qualify for access, with those without having to purchase the DLC.

The Curse of the Pharaohs

The second DLC, The Curse of the Pharaohs, is slated to land on 6 March. According to Ubisoft, this expansion will serve up a new storyline, with gamers tasked with investigating a strange curse plaguing the city of Thebes.

The enemy for this DLC will be past Pharaohs and beasts from Egyptian mythology, and should be a nice addition for fans of ancient lore. Like the first DLC, the level cap will once again rise to 55, with loot on offer in the form of rare and legendary weapons, as well as new outfits. How much of each is available though, is unclear.

With Assassin's Creed Origins one of the best games of 2017, this upcoming batch of DLCs will no doubt have many venturing to Ancient Egypt once again.
