We're less than a month away from the penultimate season of Game of Thrones (GoT) hitting TVs worldwide, and HBO has released a second trailer in anticipation of the event, which kicks off on 16 July 2017. 

The video was accompanied by #WinterIsHere, and by the looks of the trailer, a full scale war is too. Epic battles are nothing new for fans of the series, but this season seems to feature more warring factions going head to head. 

While the full details of the season are unknown, the footage suggests that Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) will once again be heading north of The Wall, confronting Wildlings and White Walkers alike. Closer to King's Landing, the Lannisters are preparing to defend their claim to the Iron Throne, with Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke) and her dragons leading the assault. 

With this set to be a precursor to GoT's final season, we're expecting each episode to be more action packed than ever. See for yourself in the trailer below.
