Some bad news for Batman fans, or rather those they wanted to play Arkham Knight on their Mac or Linux machine, as Warner Bros. has cancelled the port of the game for those respective platforms. The game was ill-fated from the start as Windows PC gamers who picked up Arkham Knight on its 23 June release date last year were left bitterly disappointed by an unplayably buggy game.

This forced Warner Bros. to recall the game in certains regions and postpone its launch throughout the rest of the world as developers Rocksteady tried to fix the problem.

Unfortunately though, their attempts have yielded mixed results, now nearly eight months on from the game's initial release. Those gamers who have Mac and Linux versions of the game, or have pre-ordered are said to be receiving full refunds according to Engadget. As such, it's a forgettable end for an otherwise excellent game franchise.
