X-23 goes beserk in the second trailer for Logan
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 20 January 2017 | Categories: NewsWhen the first trailer for Logan, the third standalone and final Wolverine movie, dropped last year, it promised a darker, grittier take on everyone's favourite X-Man. A new trailer has arrived, showcasing more of the mysterious young girl (X-23) and her relationship with Logan.
In the trailer our protagonist, played by Hugh Jackman, is a lot greyer and battle scarred than previous outings. Also, the X-Men seem to have been disbanded, with Wolverine and Professor X (Patrick Stewart) the few remaining members.
The significance of X-23 is not fully explained, but we're told by Charles Xavier than she and Logan are far more similar than either realises. This becomes evident when she pops her claws at the 1:08 mark in the trailer. Kitted out with two adamantium claws in each hand, as well as superior strength and agility, X-23's fighting ability is fairly close to that of Wolverine in his prime.
One X-Men film we're eager to watch, Logan will land in US cinemas on 3 March. Hit play on the trailer below, and see why this could very well be the first good Wolverine movie made to date. We've also added the Red Band trailer for you to enjoy.
