YouTube creates team to ensure videos are not mistakenly taken down

While some are indeed infringing upon the copyright laws that YouTube has in place, several have been taken down despite adhering to the laws completely.
As Engadget reports, these mistaken takedowns have yielded an "outcry" from YouTube users, with the company since forming a special team designed to ensure that no such mistakes happen going forward. Furthermore, the company has promised to provide greater transparency when it strips videos of revenue when they infringe on specific copywriting rules. Added to this, there are plans in place where YouTube aims to foster greater communication between the company and its content creators.
