The nuvi 1200 with its 3.5-inch touch-screen is Garmin's entry-level device. It features text-to-speech navigation, an improved pedestrian mode and an overhauled interface.
PROS
Turn-by-turn, text-to-speech navigation in an entry-level unit is great.
CONS
The lack of a QWERTY keyboard is just silly and the ecoRoute tool is gimmicky.
VERDICT
An excellent device, but the price is rather steep.
