After coming off second best to FIFA for the last few years, Konami employs a daring current-gen-console-only plan to best EA Sports' effort.
PROS
Looks great; plays even better; and official UEFA competitions are available.
CONS
Simulation fans will like FIFA 14 better; serious lack of official licensing; and archaic menu system is dated.
VERDICT
PES 2014 boasts better graphics than FIFA 14 and is more entertaining to play. But, thanks to its arcade style gameplay and serious lack of licensing, is not the game for simulation fans.
