Forget the phones, the device that set the recent Apple announcements alight was the new Apple Watch. The Series 4 contains a new heart sensor, low and high heart rate notifications, fall detection and emergency SOS.

The local iStore has announced that pre-orders are almost open, with prices also provided. Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 4 GPS and Apple Watch Nike+ Series 4 GPS will open on 21 September 2018 for cash as well as on the FNB Credit Card payment plan. The Apple Watch Series 4 GPS will be available from 28 September, with the Nike+ Series 4 GPS available from 5 October 2018.

Cost you ask? The 40mm GPS version goes for R7 999 cash, or R329 pm on the FNB Credit Card Payment Plan, and that’s the price per month over 27 months. The 44mm GPS version retails for R8 599 or R357 pm on the Payment Plan.

Pre-orders of Apple Watch Series 4 GPS and Apple Watch Nike+ Series 4 GPS can be completed online by visiting www.myistore.co.za from 21 September 2018.

The iStore offers customers up to R2 400 back by trading in their current watch for a new one. Customers can also buy the Apple Watch Series 4 for cash or on the FNB Credit Card payment plan.
