Canon Series: Essential Equipment - Clinton Lubbe
By Staff Writer 4 September 2015 | Categories: sponsored contentAfter talking about his favourite photo and recently acquired gear, we get to the nitty gritty – asking commercial photographer and cinematographer, Clinton Lubbe about the essential equipment in his bag.
Clinton Lubbe: Definitely the Canon 85mm f1.2 EF L II. Even when I plan on using another lens, I find myself going back to it. It’s just too beautiful to not have a look and see if there is an option below f2.
TechSmart: Is there a cheap piece of equipment/tool/solution that you use on a regular basis?
Clinton Lubbe: The most interesting and creative souls are worldly wise. They are well-travelled people and exist outside the bubble of their own clique. The internet is an alternative means of travel, but use it for inspiration, not copying. Also, don’t consume yourself with the photographic sites, you will develop a mental block. Find, appreciate and learn about other art mediums that are just as interesting.
