Oh, heavens. Or is that hell? The first full trailer for IT has dropped, and damn, if the teaser left you wondering about the remake, the new one will have you all onboard.

The town of Derry, Maine is cursed, with kids disappearing every so often. It is, of course, the demon Pennywise responsible for all the horror, and after his 27-year hiatus, the Dancing Clown has returned.

The Stephen King fright fest was due a remake, and we’re quite happy that it’s Andrés Muschietti, known for the frightening Mama, that is helming the project. Expect Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård’s (Atomic Blonde, Hemlock Grove) stock to rise after this, with his portrayal of Pennywise set to surpass Tim Curry’s in the miniseries (yes, we said it).

With a 15 September landing date for South Africa, expect a few more trailers to drop before IT hits the big screen.
