Ridley Scott's latest installment in the Alien franchise, Covenant, will hit cinemas in May. Our appetites were whetted with an intense trailer last month, and now Prologue footage has been released to further heighten the anticipation. 

While there is no Xenomorph citing or chest explosions, this four minute-long clip certainly seems to channel the same energy as the original, with the vast majority of the cast enjoying some food and drink after waking up from cryostasis (we're assuming). 

The real scene stealer, however, is Danny McBride (Eastbound and Down), whose quick whips should prove a nice counterpoint to the gore and horror that the film will take later on. Hit play on the video below and enjoy, and if you haven't seen the Red Band official trailer yet, we've added that too.
