We've seen bits and pieces of Guy Ritchie's forthcoming King Arthur film, Legend of the Sword. Now a full length trailer has dropped hinting at the main protagonist's origins, as well as how the villain fits into the grand scheme of things.

Playing a young Arthur is Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim), who pulls the sword from the stone in the trailer and begins to wield it with some intent. Opposing him is Jude Law (The Young Pope) as King Vortigern, who is not looking to let go of his reign on the throne lightly. .

Things look action packed for Legend of the Sword, and by all early showings it appears to carry the hallmarks of a Guy Ritchie flick. Having done a great job on Sherlock Holmes, we're hoping he accomplishes the same when King Arthur hits cinemas in May. Watch the trailer below for a better look at the medieval action.
