Glass, the surprising superhero trilogy, gets a trailer
By Staff Writer 23 July 2018 | Categories: newsWhen M. Night Shyamalan debuted Unbreakable in 2000, who would have thought it would turn into a superhero trilogy? Well, nobody up until the point where it became clear in Split that it’s set in the Unbreakable universe. Not even one of the big stars of Unbreakable, Samuel L. Jackson, knew that this would be the case, having been informed by Shyamalan to give him a call after he had watched Split.
The three main characters set to face off in Glass is the super-strong David Dunn (Bruce Willis), the fragile but highly intelligent Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson), and the 24 different personalities of Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), including the rather frightening The Beast.
While being treated for thinking that they might be superheroes, the prospect arises of Mr. Glass working with The Beast to exact wide-spread carnage. As Mr. Glass notes, “That sounds like the bad guys teaming up”. What this holds in store for David Dunn, who tracked Crumb and knows the danger hidden inside him, we will have to wait and see.
Glass is set to break on 18 January 2019. Hit play below to see the first glimpse of the movie.
