Goosebumps

February 2016 (United Kingdom)

If you're a child of the 90s, more often than not you reached for one of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps. What felt like a neverending series, Goosebumps featured young kids dealing with all manner of the creepy and downright bizarre.

As such, the fact that Hollywood is now making a movie about them should come as no surprise, given the books’ popularity more than two decades ago. With its release scheduled for early 2016, a trailer has now debuted to get those nostalgic feelings flowing once again. Adding further weight to Goosebumps' appeal is Jack Black (Kung Fu Panda, School of Rock), who plays author R.L. Stine in the film.

Joining Black are newbies Dylan Minnette (Prisoners, Let Me In) and Odeya Rush (The Giver, The Odd Life of Timothy Green). The pair along with Stine go on a Jumanji-esque roller coaster ride, as the infamous Goosebumps books come to life. As such, it's up to all of them to get a handle on the havoc that ensues to try and fix things.
