Hunting Simulator gets shooting with new trailer
By Staff Writer 23 March 2017 | Categories: news“Shhh. Be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting wabbits!” Why Elmer Fudd isn’t the main playable character in Hunting Simulator no one knows, but for those wanting to get their game on, a first trailer has been released.
Hunting Simulator is set for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this coming summer and take armchair hunters to iconic hunting regions like the mountains of Colorado, the forests of France and the snowy plains of Alaska, each with its own “hunting objectives”. With 37 different species to hunt, it sure offers a decent alternative to Battlefield/Call of Duty, where there is usually just one species on the menu.
Different hunting paraphernalia are available, including rifles, crossbows, longbows, as well as lures, hunting calls and wind indicators, while you also have different modes, including campaign, free hunt, and shooting practice.
An interesting aspect is the inclusion of cooperative multiplayer, with hunters having to split up their roles: analysing tracks, locating the animal, cornering it, planning the first shot and second shot, all while not getting spotted.
While it might not be up everyone’s alley, hunting digital animals could perhaps be your next big thing. Have a look at the trailer to find out if Bigben and Neopica studio’s Hunting Simulator is for you.
