With such a lot of attention being paid to Black Panther, it’s worthwhile noting that another black superhero is close to season 2 on Netflix. Luke Cage has now received an official trailer, and shows our man (Mike Colter) hitting his stride since his name alone makes enemies run and hide.

That’s until he gets a taste of his own medicine, thanks to some crack martial arts skills from Bushmaster (Mustafa Shakir, Brawl in Cell Block 99). Cage is rattled, since previously, his bullet-proof build made him almost untouchable, and is sure to upend the stability of Harlem.

After a good first season, and his appearance as part of The Defenders (we won’t comment on that series), Luke Cage should provide some skiet, skop en donner relief after Infinity War. It’s set to start 22 June, only on Netflix.
