For those unfamiliar with the character, she has the ability to shapeshift, and is inspired by Captain Marvel, hence the name. If brought to the big screen, she'd also be the first female Pakistani character introduced to the MCU. Ms. Marvel would also bring a fresh injection of youth to the Marvel films, with Spider-Man currently the youngest character in the MCU.
There are no firm details about when Ms. Marvel will be developed, but an animated version of the character will be coming to Marvel Uprising in a few months, giving fans a taste of what the big screen variant would be like.
If Ms. Marvel did come to the fore, it could open the door for an All New, All Different take on the Avengers, as we've seen in the comic books, but that's just us spitballing.
