If you have a love for anything geek in nature, chances are that it will be represented in one form or another at San Diego Comic Con. This year's edition has played host to a number of highly anticipated films, with the likes of X-Men: Apocalypse, Deadpool (thankfully R-Rated) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice all duking it out for attention. It was only the latter however, which has debuted an official trailer online, with the other two keeping theirs under wraps. There have however been a number of shaky leaked versions for Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse that have popped up online, but our lawyers have advised against posting them.

Back to Batman v Superman, as this new trailer puts the film's storyline into sharper focus, along with giving us glimpses of the Dark Knight and Man of Steel duking it out in Gotham. We also get to see both Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg of The Social Network fame, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, whom you may remember from the Fast & Furious films.

While the first trailer featured a very constipated looking Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, this new one puts things into perspective, as Wayne has to watch on as two Kryptonians (Kal-El and Zod) destroy most of Metropolis during their final fight scene from Man of Steel. Bruce Wayne is suitably angry and fearful about the threat that this alien poses, not sure whether to classify him as friend or foe.

We also see Lex Luthor get in on the action, although he is sporting far longer locks, or perhaps just a very bad wig. Regardless of the follicle situation, Luthor is able to secure the corpse of General Zod, and after an analysis of his blood, discovers Superman's weakness, which we all know to be kryptonite, although we're guessing that Clark Kent is blissfully unaware of this fact.

With a March 2016-slated release date scheduled for Dawn of Justice, it appears as of all the pieces are shaping up nicely. Now, all we need is a few shots of Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Conan the Barbarian) as Aquaman, and then we'll be really amped for this film.
