Ever since Nintendo launch its Switch hybrid console earlier this year, the focus has been primarily on hardware and gaming titles. Thankfully though, the Japanese company has begun detailing a few aspects of its Nintendo Switch Online service. As such, we know now what pricing in the States will be, roughly $20 per year, with the platform set to go live sometime in 2018. 

Along with the announcement, the company has stated that online co-op gameplay will be free to users that sign in with their Nintendo accounts until the service arrives in 2018. 

Once it is available, the pricing for those Stateside will be $4 per month, $8 for three months or $20 for the year. The launch of Nintendo Switch Online will also see a companion mobile app be released, with both providing users access to specific deals in the eShop. 

Nintendo Switch Online will not simply be about the co-op and multiplayer aspect, but will make select Classic games available too, which will include titles like Super Mario Bros. 3, Balloon Fight and Dr. Mario.

For now, Nintendo Switch Online is slated for the States, but hopefully news about its local availability will follow swiftly.
