If you've already gotten your hands on a plain black PS4 console, and don't feel like shelling out an additional R8 000 for a custom limited edition console, then the news that Sony is bringing its custom faceplates to South Africa, is welcome indeed.

Available in a number of colours, including neon orange, sky blue, glacier, the faceplates will land at South African retailers from 8 November onwards, for an estimated R300. Added to this, Sony will also be bringing silver and gold faceplates later in the year, which should prove a perfect companion to the silver and gold Dualshock 4 controllers (arriving 18 November) the company showcased at the Tokyo Games Show earlier in the year.

The faceplate itself will not cover the entire console, like certain decals, but only the HDD portion of the PS4. For a better idea of the colour combos, give the video below a watch.
