Puma gets ready for buy one, get one free offer on running shoes
By Staff Writer 27 January 2017 | Categories: newsHere’s a decent deal that can score you an extra pair of running shoes. Puma is preparing to run an offer where, if you buy the new Speed 600 IGNITE V2 (R2 399), you will get a pair of IGNITE v3 (R1 999) running shoes for mahala. The offer starts 1 February, when the Speed 600 IGNITE V2 launches locally.
Puma describes the V2 as a lightweight runner, coming in at 295 grams (240 g for the women’s version) with an 8 mm heel to toe drop. The shoes have a dual layer midsole infused with Puma’s Ignite technology that the company believes offers longer lasting cushioning and responsiveness, for better energy return when striking the road. It features a molded EVA Supreme sockliner, plus Puma mentions an engineered forefoot which propels you forward, generating more speed through the toe off phase.
For what it’s worth, we think it’s a better-looking shoe than last year’s V1 (review), with the new mesh upper making a big difference. If it follows in its big brother’s footsteps, it should be a good everyday trainer.
The free IGNITE V3 features IGNITE Foam midsole, breathable mesh uppers, and a minimal TPU heel cage that they believe provides a secure fit to eliminate heel slip. At 12 mm the V3 offers a more traditional heel to toe drop, and is described as a short to mid-distance running shoe.
This deal is available at participating stores only (excluding Puma Stores) while stocks last.
