As you may or may not know, Robert Downey Jr has been a bit down on his luck recently, and had to resort to working for HTC to promote the new HTC One M9 flagship smartphone. Luckily, the man has been up to something quite, well interesting, with ten short vignettes, each based on a specific colour.

The short movies are billed as a collaborative effort by Robert Downey Jr., Russell Scott of Jetset Studios, and of course HTC. According to the smartphone manufacturer, the movies “juxtapose the sleek, colour changing attributes of the new HTC One with timeless pop culture inspirations, from The Prisoner to Andy Warhol to Charlie Chaplin.”

Ultimately, the movies reveal very little about the smartphone, in fact, we’re unsure as to what they really reveal about anything. Nonetheless, for a taste of a little bit of craziness, hit the videos below, or head over to HTC for all of them.
