Game to movie adaptations very rarely get pulled off, just look at last year's Warcraft film. Nevertheless, we were intrigued when Ubisoft, in conjunction with 20th Century Fox, decided to develop an Assassin's Creed movie. We've since seen images of lead character Callum Lynch, played by Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Apocalypse) in assassin garb, as well as the first trailer profiling the Animus. Now, a new trailer has arrived further detailing Lynch and his bloodline.

While this movie does not appear to stick 100% to the original 2007 game, the broader strokes are there. Hopefully though, those who have already played the games will not be able to decipher the plot too early.

As in the first trailer, Lynch is hooked up to the Animus, which taps into his bloodline to transport him into the world of his 15th century ancestor, who just so happens to be an assassin in Spain during the Inquisition. There are also all manner of death-defying jump to enjoy, so hit play on the trailer below and watch Fassbender do his thing.
