Spider-Man's suit gets a subtle upgrade in first Homecoming teaser
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 8 December 2016 | Categories: NewsOne of the next big comic book movies, among the myriad debuting next year, is Spider-Man Homecoming. The latest iteration of our favourite silver screen webslinger will hit cinemas come July 2017, but there will be a fully fledged trailer to enjoy later today. For those residing in the US, the trailer will air live on the Jimmy Kimmel talk show, but for now there is at least a teaser to enjoy.
In it we see newly minted Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland), whose cameo in Civil War was one of the best parts of the film. More importantly, we see that Tony Stark will play an integral role in this young superhero's development, as Stark's right-hand man Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) features heavily.
Along with gifting Parker with the suit he dons in Civil War, the teaser shows off a slightly upgraded version, which features webbing under the arms to help Spidey glide like a flying squirrel of sorts. The addition also pays homage to the first Spider-Man created by Stan Lee.
Hit play on the teaser below.
