Telkom DGL's Masters Dota 2 final can be viewed in a cinema this weekend
By Staff Writer 21 July 2016 | Categories: newsThe Dota 2 final for Telkom DGL's Masters series is happening this weekend (22-24 July), and the competition is allowing eSports fans to watch the event live on the big screen. Interested fans residing in either Johannesburg or Cape Town will be able to to see some of the country's top Dota 2 teams duke it out for a prize of R100 000, along with serious bragging rights.

For those living in Egoli, Ster-Kinekor's HQ at the corner of Katherine St. and Marlboro Drive in Sandton, will play host. Things will kick off on Friday, 22 July, at 13:00, with the winner being crowned at the end of the weekend, on 24 July at 19:00.
If you call the City Bowl your home, Ster-Kinekor in Cavendish will have a theatre set aside for eSports fans to see all eight Dota 2 teams fight it out. Action also starts at the same time as in Joburg, with fans able to return the following two days to watch the winner being announced.
Viewing the tournament is free and access simply requires registering for tickets to do so. Be advised though, as tickets for the final have already been sold out, but there are still some available for earlier matches and rounds.
