Amateur and pro photographers alike can look forward to a highlight on the photo calendar with the 2010 Photo & Film Expo opening tomorrow.

Following on the success of the inaugural event in 2009, the 2010 Photo & Film Expo, held in the Coca-Cola Dome in Northgate, Johannesburg, now has more exhibition stalls, double the number of workshops and a full representation of the industry.

Big industry players such as Canon, Leica, Nikon, Hasselblad, Olympus, Sony, Panasonic and Fujifilm all have their latest and greatest cameras and lenses on display at the event.

Photographers can also benefit from free workshops, with over 30 specialist presenters and live demos taking place. Some of the presenters include Walter Borchenko discussing medium format photography, Johan Pretorius talking about sports photography and Patrick Toselli giving finer details about fashion photography.
