Artwork and release date for Attack on Titan season three confirmed
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 30 October 2017 | Categories: NewsIf you need to get your fill of Attack on Titan, it will have to wait until July next year, with the animated series' Facebook page confirming the arrival of season three for mid-2018. Along with announcing when the third season will land on Japanese television sets, we were also given some artwork to enjoy.
The official Shingeki website has also been updated to feature the artwork, which shows the main protagonist Eren Jaeger on his knees and chained atop a large frozen pillar and surrounded by ice.
As for when the English dubbed version of the third season will be available via US broadcaster Funimation, remains to be seen for now. Until then, there is still the first and second seasons of this wildly popular and equally intense series to enjoy. Add to that a season two compilation movie, which will be landing in January 13 next year.
With Warner Bros. buying the rights to make an Attack on Titan live action film, perhaps they'll be using the compilation movie as a template for tackling their own project.
