The Transformers franchise is one that shows no signs of slowing down, now popping up with a spin-off of one of the most beloved Autobots – Bumblebee.

The new full trailer has dropped and shows us a bit more of how Bumblebee made its way to the young Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld, True Grit) in a small little Californian beach town.

In many respects, Bumblebee looks like a Herbie for the modern era, with the iconic VW Beetle playing a defining role. However, in this version the Beetle is also pursued by bloodthirsty Decepticons, intent on using whatever means necessary to find Bumblebee - even if that means destroying Earth.

And it’s here where we encounter the movie’s secret weapon – John Cena as Agent Burns. Much like Hollywood superstar The Rock, Cena has made his way from WWE wrestling to the big screen, showing his acting chops in movies such as Blockers and Trainwreck.

Directed by Travis Knight, the man responsible for the awesome must-watch Kubo and the Two Strings, Bumblebee will be out on 21 December 2018. Check the trailer below to see if the movie makes it to your must-watch list.
