LIFE, not to be confused with the 1999 Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence comedy, is a forthcoming space horror that has a strong Alien vibe to it. While there is no Xenomorph-esque creatures appearing, the one glimpsed in the latest red band trailer for the movie is certainly terrifying enough.

In it, the crew aboard an international space station of sorts, encounters an organism that confirms proof of life on Mars. As with most space horrors, things take a fairly drastic turn from there, with member after member seemingly meeting a violent end. Near the end of the trailer, it's also hinted that an unhappy ending is on the way, with the organism possibly finding its way to Earth.

Starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Nocturnal Animals) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), LIFE hits cinemas on 24 March in South Africa. Watch the trailer below to see if you'll brave viewing it on the big screen.
