Soundtrack for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 released
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 20 April 2017 | Categories: NewsThere were plenty of things we loved about Guardians of the Galaxy, and the 70s soundtrack was a significant factor. As such, the beats for the upcoming Vol. 2 is something we're hotly anticipating. Luckily, we don't need to wait until the movie hits cinemas on 1 May locally, with the set list for Vol. 2's soundtrack being revealed.
It features a number of classics, including Electric Light Orchestra's Mr. Blue Sky, Sweet's Fox on a Run, and Fleetwood Mac's The Chain (both which we heard in the trailers). There are also a couple of songs that hint at plots in the film, with Brandy by Looking Glass likely dealing with Star Lord's (Chris Pratt) interest in Gamora (Zoe Saldana), as well as him meeting his father, Ego (Kurt Russell), which is accompanied by Cat Stevens' Father and Son.
The soundtrack will be available tomorrow (21 April), and should help you get in the mood for the film's release a few days later. For a taster of the film itself though, hit play on the latest trailer below.
